Residential pre-purchase surveys are commonly divided into 3 categories, Mortgage Valuation (which is not really a survey!), Homebuyer Reports (an economy package) and Building Survey which is the
most detailed survey which can be undertaken for a house buyer.
Mortgage Valuations & Homebuyer Surveys include advice on market value and we no longer undertake valuations.
We therefore concentrate on advising on structural condition and provide mainly Building Surveys, but the extent of advice can be tailored to individual requirements.
All the surveys are based on a visual inspection without causing damage to the property and within the constraints of the normal levels of occupation of a residential property. In other words the
degree of moving furniture and carpets is limited.
